The world’s best street skateboarders took the Windy City by storm during Stop One of the 2014 Street League Skateboarding Nike SB World Tour at the fully packed UIC Pavilion in Chicago. With loads of legendary spots and a thriving skate scene, Chicago came out in droves to witness Monster Energy’s Ishod Wair, Peter Ramondetta, Chris Cole, Shane O’Neill, Matt Berger, and Nyjah Huston lay waste to the most unique SLS course yet.
After a down-to-the-wire finals session against teammate O’Neill, Huston walked away with the $100,000 cash prize in this first big arena stop of the 2014 SLS tour. Berger cleaned up at the #DIAMONDLIFE after party. O’Neill landed a clean switch double 360 flip earning him the weekends highest scored trick at 9.8 and went home with a solid 3rd place finish.
