Superbowl Skateboarder

[one_one]Apparently, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was spotted on a skateboard in his driveway which caused a media-fire over the internet the past week.

“The skateboarding story is funny. I mean it was in our bye week leading up (to the Texans game). And I’ve never been on a skateboard in my life, so I was literally riding it about 10 feet down my driveway just to see if I could stand on it and stay upright,” said Flacco.

“And one of my neighbors must’ve called in looking for (GM) Ozzie Newsome, and they left a voicemail on his secretary’s phone saying, ‘Hey, man, you gotta let Joe Flacco know we’re trying to win a Super Bowl around here. He’s at home riding a skateboard. Somebody’s got to let him know what the deal is.’

“So, pretty funny. Definitely got passionate fans around here. And, you know, it gave us a good laugh when we came in the next day.”

Basically, a big deal made over nothing. Unless, of course, he had fallen and broken something.[/one_one]
